They fought and worked hard to establish the paralegal profession and break that barrier, and they were successful because they were determined, highly skilled, and had performed their jobs so well, they had become indispensable to their attorney employers.
This lady was one of the pioneers of the paralegal profession, and I admired the fact that she appreciated and never forgot her roots and those who worked alongside her to move up that ladder.
